On the morning of April 23, “2012 China-Japan Joint Symposium on Sensing Technology”, organized and hosted by Southeast University, was inaugurated in Liuyuan Hotel in Nanjing.

The opening ceremony was presided over by Prof. Song Aiguo, Dean of SEU’s School of Instrument Science and Engineering. Vice President Liu Bo attended the symposium and delivered a welcome speech on behalf of Southeast University. More than 30 scholars from renowned universities and research institutes such as Kyushu University, Waseda University, Tsinghua University, Nanjing University and Southeast University participated in the symposium to exchange their latest achievements and discuss new development trend of sensor technology. This symposium is aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation and promoting research on sensor technologies through international exchanges and dialogue between China and Japan.
