A ceremony was held at Southeast University (SEU) on the afternoon of May 7th to confer guest professor to Prof. Kumares Sinha from Purdue University, member of American Academy of Engineering.
The ceremony was hosted by Prof. Cheng Jianchuan, Deputy Dean of School of Transportation. Vice President Pu Yuepu addressed the ceremony, and awarded the letter of appointment and the university badge. Afterwards, Prof. Sinha delivered a lecture named “Fiscal Sustainability of Highway Infrastructure: Role of Direct Charging”, and had in-depth discussion with the participants.
Prof. Kumares Sinha enjoys global reputation in the field of transportation. Has been to China for 16 times since his first visit in 1986, he has witnessed the fast development of Chinese transportation, and contributed a great deal to Chinese transportation education.
