“China-Scotland Advanced Workshop on Signal Processing” Inaugurated in Nanjing

“China-Scotland Advanced Workshop on Signal Processing” was inaugurated in Nanjing On May 15. The workshop was co-hosted by Southeast University (SEU), Research Councils UK (RCUK), Edinburgh Royal Academy of Engineering, and organized by SEU.
 
The opening ceremony was hosted by Prof. WANG Qiao, director of SEU’s Lab of Signal and Information Processing. SEU Vice President Prof. ZHENG Jiamao attended the ceremony and delivered a welcome speech. More than 100 experts and scholars from home and abroad attended the workshop, including Prof. Tariq S Durrani, President of Royal Academy of Engineering UK and Prof. TAN Tieniu from Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
 
The workshop is aimed at strengthening cooperation among scholars from home and abroad in the relevant field and promoting the development of signal processing through bilateral exchanges between China and Scotland.
